Rules

24 hr (Day Ticket Anglers)

  • Summer season costs; £30.00 for 24 hrs from 1st March through to 1st November for up to 3 rods.
  • Winter Cost; £25.00 for 24hrs from the 1st November through to 1st March for up to 3 rods.
  • Toilets 
  • New Bivvy lake now available only lake exclusives for 2 for 48hrs £50 call for booking!

Membership Costs

  • New annual membership fee is £600 for first year, then reducing to £500 a year after. (October to October)
  • Membership is on a referral only basis. This being from another member or our regular day ticket visitors who show good fish care!
  • Fish care is essential at all times from capture right through to returning safely. Also good behaviour, respecting fellow anglers & cleanliness when fishing our lakes.
  • Memberships runs from the 31st October each year and runs for a calendar year from this date.
  • Members Only Facilities
    • Free use of members kitchen area, also charging of phones & bait boat batteries etc. from the kitchen area.
    • Free use of microwave, refrigerator, freezer etc.
    • Free use of members only shower room.

MEMBERS Facilities RULES

  • Keep the cabin clean at all times including members only kitchen, shower and toilets.
  • Keep the members toilet & shower block locked at all times.
  • Members allowed on site from 10am on the morning of your booked session.
  • After finishing your session, take all unused Items home including bait and food, including all food from the refrigerator.
  • All rubbish must be taken home.
  • Members should keep an eye on non members fish care. Be willing to assist if required, landing and photographing and see the carp are safely returned.
  • All members are required to do at least one work party per year. This can be while you are fishing at the lake, but prior notice must be given.
  • Members are allowed in at 9am 

Rules

NO!

  • Inline lead systems.
  • Death Rigs! Instant ban if seen been using them.
  • Gluing the drop off lead clip.
  • Naked Line (tubing must be used)
  • Braided main line / lead core leader.
  • Fixed leads.
  • Long shank hooks.
  • Plastic / fake hook baits.
  • Minimum sized hook when targeting carp is size 6. wide gape, Micro barbed Only,
  • No stalking, all fishing must be done from your swim.
  • Leaving rods unattended.
  • Leaving litter around your swim.
  • Fires.
  • Drug use on the property!
  • Cigarette buds must be cleared away instantly.
  • Smoking in the cabins is not permitted.
  • No guests or visitors unless prior permission is granted.
  • No under 16 years of age unless pre-arranged and supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Removal of fish from the fishery.
  • Wet wipes flushed down the Toilet!
  • No access to the far bank without permission.

Must have/use

  • Rig tubbing or Korda safe zone leader with quick release system /not loop ring!
  • Bite alarms and drop back indicators when targeting carp.
  • Minimum of 15lb line. (0.35 thickness)
  • Rods must be a minimum of 2.5lb test curve when targeting carp.
  • All anglers must have Propolis / fish care products. Available for purchase in our store if required before a start of a session.
  • Toiletries (please bring your own).

General Rules

  • Maggots , worm are allowed from the 1st November till the 1st February.
  • Pellets are allowed but must be bought on site.
  • Party particle mix is allowed / but not just maze or corn on its own and no fake toppers From Nov to March 1st ( boilie and pellet only rest of the year )
  • Fishing from designated pegs only.
  • Bait boats are allowed, but must be used within your designated swim. Respect other anglers at all times!
  • Your own boilie’s are allowed, but must be from recognised bait companies. The well-being of our carp is essential at all times.
  • All anglers must be in possession of a National Rod license.
  • Only quick release swivels allowed 
  • Only members are allowed in the Members Cabin / toilets.
  • Clean the toilets after use.
  • Maximum of 3 Rods are allowed all year, but must stay within your designated swim even if adjacent swims are vacant.
  • All photos of fish must be sent to management before leaving. (This is to keep a check on growth rates of all our carp)
  • Landing nets, slings, cradles are provided. Do not bring your own. You must collect and return to the office before and after your session.
  • Any fish caught over 25lb, please notify our bailiff or owner for fish checks. We like to check the growth rates and well-being of our carp at all times.
  • No excessive drinking on site. If seen to be drunk, you will be asked to reel in your rods immediately.
  • Pike fishing is allowed in winter but only dead baiting and no spinning 

ANYONE FOUND OR STRONGLY SUSPECTED OF BREAKING RULES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT REFUND. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS. RIG INSPECTIONS WILL ALSO BE CARRIED OUT DURING YOUR SESSION, EITHER WHEN YOU REEL IN OR WHEN FISH HAVE BEEN LANDED.
